Jenny Huarhua has built her knowledge, skill and abilities, serving on a variety of roles at different nonprofit organizations working with diverse communities, most of them indigenous communities in her native Peru. Her work focused on women's empowerment through access to education and economic independence.
Jenny earned her master’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning with an emphasis on International Project Development and Non-Profit Management at Virginia Tech. As a first-generation college student, she values the importance of education to increase opportunity for all.
