Vivian Chang (she/her/hers) serves as the Civic Engagement & Racial Justice Director of the Asian Pacific American Labor Alliance, overseeing APALA's programs on voting, redistricting, immigration advocacy, and political engagement. She has led multiple voter outreach programs focused on BIPOC community outreach in Nevada and Georgia, contributing to record voter turnouts. She has previously worked in federal science policy and served two years as an AmeriCorps VISTA in Philadelphia, Pa., and Moline, Ill, focused on BIPOC and immigrant communities. She is dedicated to building worker power and advancing social and economic justice that is grounded in solidarity with and leadership by the most impacted communities. She holds an MPA from Princeton University and a B.S. in Biophysics and B.A. in Hispanic Studies from Carnegie Mellon University. Vivian's hometown is Columbus, Ohio, sprouting from dual Taiwanese and Buckeye traditions.
